A unique place for teaching and creation in Switzerland!
For its third season, UMA is truly taking root in a space entirely designed and created in the image of today’s urban arts and sports practices.
Thanks to the support of the Montes Alti Foundation and after several months of work led by architect Alexandre Keller in close collaboration with UMA’s director, the students, and UMA’s educational and artistic team now benefit from an iconic workspace that features urban skate ramps under a 9-meter-high ceiling, parkour modules, dance rooms, and equipment that promotes teaching, transmission, creation, and interdisciplinarity.
WestPark in Vernier now hosts the Urban Move Academy on over 1,200 m² and two levels. This new momentum will allow today’s and tomorrow’s talents to further reveal themselves and create under the guidance and inspiration of director Nicolas Musin, supported by his teaching team.
The inauguration took place on September 25, 2024. The press is talking about it!
